My laptop stopped working , not sure why yet, I guess it’s repairable. We decided to get a new computer for me to work at home and move the laptop to storyhouse after it’s repaired. Well, lucky me. I guess.
Turns out the problem is a hardware one. Peter thought it might be the hard drive and after seeing their were three remapped sectors on the hard drive, assumed that was the problem. But in the end it turns out that their is something wrong with the external power connection. The laptop works fine, but only on battery. As soon as it is plugged in, it crashes. It will still charge the battery, but, or course, it’s not possible to work on the computer while that’s happening.
So that is my new computer. I wanted an all-in-one kind, so this is what they had at the store near our house. The computer is behind the screen and it has a touch screen.
