The video below shows how my brother-in-law saved his 5 year old son after he locked himself in the bathroom. As you can see through the whole event, James is very calm while trying to instruct Sage as clearly as he can (eating the mango at the same time is cool). This was very impressive for me. It really got me thinking and I should probably start to train myself to be able to stay calm in any emergency situation that happens around me. I’m not really good with it especially if it happens to any of my children. You’ll also notice that at the end James even says, “Well done,” to Sage for getting himself out of the bathroom. I wonder if this is all just about culture or education? If the same thing happened to me I would likely be punished for playing with the lock in the first place, so I’d like to say, “Well done to James,” what a nice father.
The video below is a father and son performance on a TV show. It is funny, but after a good laugh I just can’t stop thinking about it and would like to share what I though about it. First of all, both of them are very serious about the performance and have studied the original very carefully. The father has spent a lot of time with his son studying the original and learning tap dancing. Don’t even mention how much time they had to practice, and plan the performance, as a parent the father had to not only spend quality time with his child but also had to show him the right attitude to take it seriously. Impressive

Yeah, James is super-relaxed dude. Good job on getting him out I say.
