理想與現實有沒有中間值?

每件事都是一體兩面的,

能當一個有理想的人是好的,但若無法實現或付諸行動就成了空想的人.

能把理想和工作結合是好的,但若無法取得平衡點就成了矛盾的人.

曾經我只是老師,我滿腦子都在:課程設計,製作教具….

現在我也是經營者,腦中就開始浮現:家長的需求,班級的呈現…

簡單而言,這只是立場不同而產生不同的考量

沒有所謂的”對與錯”,”好與壞”.

只是當立場重疊時就成了矛盾與衝突

 

故事屋是我的夢想之一,

從開始計畫故事屋的那一刻,從開始寫教案及宣傳單的那一刻,

就沒有成功與否的考量,因為夢想不是成功的開始,而是生活的原動力

或者,當我開始及執行的時候我就已經成功了

 

開始宣傳後,大家開始提出各式各樣的問題,一度讓我有點找不到自己的定位…經過幾天的沉思和好友的協助,我找到了中間值,那就是堅持但不固執!堅持自己對教育的理念,開班的初衷,對於大家所提出的任何意見要先接受再思考若是對小朋友有益處的,那又為何要固執!我們都只有一個目的那就是讓小朋友快樂的成長.

最後,我要感謝我的好朋友Phoebe和Michelle在我最猶豫的時候,請聽我的問題和提供我意見,寫到這才想起來,我的這兩位好有怎麼都長的美,英文又都是我的三倍好(我沒有狗腿喔,要是他們倆同意我可以po照證明! )

 

Is there a happy medium between dreams and reality?

Everything has its ups and downs,

If you dare to dream, but never do anything about it, then your words are just hollow.

If you don’t find a way to balance your dreams and your career then there will be constant conflict between the two.

When I was a teacher, all I had to think about was the teaching plan and making props. Now I’m not only a teacher, but someone who is running a business. I have to think about parents’ needs and how to present my classes to them.

Basically, the difference just comes from your position in the system.

There’s no right and wrong or good and bad, but when you are in both positions there will be conflict and confusion. 

 To start a story house is one of my dreams. From the moment that I started to plan the story house, write the teaching plan and promote the class I never thought about whether or not it would succeed because the success does not start with the dream, the dream is simply the constant motivator that drives you towards that success.

 After starting to promote the classes, people started to ask all kinds of questions about my techniques and the class content. I started to second-guess aspects of the class that I had originally been quite sure about. There was a while when I really lost myself, but after thinking about these things for a few days and talking to some friends, I’ve found that happy medium again. Be insistent, but not stubborn. Insist on those things that I have studied and learned about education and my original goals for the class. For those opinions that people have, I will accept them but also give it a second thought. If it is good for kids then there is no reason to be stubborn, we all have a single goal, and that is to see children grow up happily.

Finally, I would like to say thank you to my good friends Phoebe and Michelle. During my most confusing moments they have listened to me and shared their opinions with me. Actually as I’m writing this I just thought about how both of them are really gorgeous and speak English at least three times better than I do. I’m not just trying to flatter them, if they agree I can put on their photos to prove it.
